U-4204-BH is an indexing machine that quickly and automatically sets buttonholes
at accurate positions
by moving front-body panels using a vacuum plate.
You only need to lay the materials on the table and complete the buttonholes
instantly.
Intelligent and perfect synchronization between the sewing head and
vacuum plate secures high-quality buttonhole sewing.
| JUKI LBH-1790AN ONBOARD | U-4204-BH comes with the Direct-Drive Motor type sewing head (max. 4,200
rpm sewing speed). Its electronic thread tension control system automatically maintains the optimum needle thread tension, resulting in beautiful buttonhole shapes. The remaining length of thread after trimming is always kept to a minimum, and the thread-fray-prevention mechanism prevents the finished seam from loosening. Its dry-head system does not require lubrication (except the hook section), preventing oil stains on the fabrics. |
| SIMPLY LAY THE FRONT BODY PANEL ON THE TABLE | Just put front body panels on the table. Operators can avoid paying strict attention to the positioning of left or right. This feature enables higher productivity. 2 x photoelectric sensors (for GENT and for LADY) detect the upper end of the front body panel, and the computer calculates the distance from the upper end and top button, buttonhole intervals, qfty of buttonholes precisely and automatically. Feeder transports the materials for GENT from left to right and the materials for LADY from right to left. Materials are piled up tidily on the stacker automatically. Alternatively, you can place the material and set the position of the top buttonhole just under the machine presser, and the machine will start button sewing immediately. |
| FLEXIBLE POSITIONING OF TOP BUTTONHOLE | This machine detects the upper edge of the front body panel using photoelectric
sensors and feeds it with a vacuum plate without clamps. Consequently, it has the flexibility to change the position of the top buttonhole, which the predecessor models did not have. This feature is especially suitable for shirts for the Japanese market, and it is called the gCool-Bizh style. |
| PERFECT SYNC. OF MACHINE HEAD AND VACUUM PLATE | The vacuum plate securely holds fabrics and precisely transports them (0.1 mm step). It perfectly synchronizes the movement of the sewing head during buttonholing. No extra adjustment work is required, even when the shape or size of the buttonhole is changed. |
| POWERFUL VACUUM PLATE | Its powerful vacuum plate steadily holds fabrics even with wrinkles or
with a naturally curved front edge because of stitches. Thanks to the pulse motor, the vacuum plate moves (in 0.1 mm increments) realizing the high precision of buttonhole positioning. It performs the perfect feeding even with heavier fabrics or finished products. |
| THREAD BREAKAGE DETECTOR (T.B.D.) | T.B.D. detects the thread breakage and stops the machine immediately. Operators can step back or step forward before restarting and continuing the operation. This feature helps to reduce the waste of time and extra work. |
| FREEDOM OF BUTTON HOLE INTERVALS | Up to 20 patterns of buttonhole intervals can be stored as Regular Pitch
(equal intervals). In the case of Irregular Pitch (unequal intervals), users can differentiate each interval as they like by inputting each distance one by one on the touchscreen. Up to 20 patterns can be stored as Irregular Pitch. |
| DUAL MODE STACKER (FOR GENT, FOR LADY) | The stacker mechanism on the right side of the machine piles up the front
body panels of both GENT and LADY. (GENT: top is on the right, LADY: top
is on the left) Thanks to its stacker turn-over shaft, materials are piled up tidily. Operators can instantly switch the stacker mode (for GENT /for LADY) with-out a complicated procedure. |
| LCD TOUCHSCREEN PROMISES INTUITIVE OPERATION | Various parameters, such as distance from the upper end to the top button,
button intervals, # of buttons, bobbin counter, pattern #, etc., are displayed
at once on the LCD touchscreen, allowing users to change settings with
easy operations. Other parameters, such as GENT/LADY, machine head on/off, vacuum on/off, stacker on/off, etc., can be instantly selected. The above-mentioned patterns can be stored up to 20. A red alert screen is displayed when the bobbin thread becomes zero. Emergency Stop and Restart at thread breakage, activating the maintenance mode, etcc everything is easy to understand thanks to LCD. |
| MARGINS BETWEEN FRONT EDGE AND BUTTONHOLES | The margin from the front edge to the buttonholes can be set within 5 mm ` 20 mm. The positions of left and right guide rulers (for GENT/ for LADY) can be adjusted instantly just by loosening / tightening thumb screws. The position of the scale is also adjustable to precisely fix the guide rulers at the correct positions. |
| METICULOUSLY DESIGNED FOR MAINTENANCE | To make a correction of the failed buttonholes, users can enter the CORRECTION
MODE on the LCD touchscreen. Press GO or BACK , to let the NG buttonhole position under the needle, then fix the specific buttonholes. In the maintenance or periodic check of sewing head, a part of top cover of the table is detachable without using any tool, and users can tilt the sewing head instantly. |
